Cute Kitties Screensaver is a nice screensaver that displays images of cats of different breeds, sizes and colors. The screensaver includes lots of images of cats playing, resting or just posing for the picture. The images can be displayed in sequential or random order and they will be shown with a different transition effect that you can customize from the Settings menu. From there, you will also be able to customize the delay between images, select the size of images, and customize the resampling, alignment, sharpness, and background color. You will also be able to add artistic effects like sepia tone or snow. Unlike most screensavers, you will also be able to customize the exit conditions, selecting the mouse sensitivity, if any.
Moreover, you can instantly select any of the included images as desktop background with the click of a button. Another original feature is the ability to include a customizable sticky note on your screensaver to remind you of important events, which you can move across the screen as you want to avoid blocking the images.
A great disadvantage this program has is that you are forced to install a Relevant Knowledge application on your system and complete a survey before being allowed to install the screensaver. The program isn't harmful at all, and you can uninstall it the second the screensaver's installation is complete, but it still represents inconvenience. It also lacks music and sound effects.
In short, Cute Kitties Screensaver is a lovely screensaver that will surely attract cat lovers.
